Show J.H. Mclnelly Services John Henry Mclnelly Funeral services for John Henry Mclnelly, 72, were held March 2nd In the Escalante South Ward Chapel, with TJpl Lorell Munson in charge. Tho prayer for the family was by Lester Mclnelly. Remarks by Bp. Munson; Invocation, George W. Spencer; song "In The Garden" by the Singing Mothers; History and Tribute, Fay Alvey; Talk, Wallace Roundy; song "This World Is Not My Home", Jean Griffin and Dawn Griffin; Talk by Lorenzo Griffin; song "Prayer Is Tie Soul's Sincere Desire" by Singing Mothers; Benediction by Lovell Twitch-ell. Dedication of the grave was by E. Dee Haws. Prelude and postlude music and ac companing was done by Areola Gates. Out -of town visitors were; Lawrence Fallis, two of his 'sons and a daughter of Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. Rex Allen of Copperton; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Mclnelly of West Jor-don; Mr. and Mrs. George La Mclnelly and Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Mclnelly of Idaho; Clea-va Swindle and Donna Rae Barker of Richfield. Eliza Mc lnelly, and many others not identified. Mr. Mclnelly died Feb. 20, 3:30 a.m., at his home of a heart aliment. He was born Jen. 12, 1887 In Escalante to James Ira and Fannie Jarvis Mclnelly. He married Vilate Twitchell In September 1908 in Escalante, later sqlemnUed in the Salt Lake Temple; she died Feb. 5, 1945. On June 15, 1953 he married Clevia Wum-mack in Escalante. He was a retired rancher. Survivors; widow; sons, daughters: Lawson, Shclto.n, Wash; Elbert, Salt Lake; Ly-tha, San Diego; Doyle Eugene, Hemet, Calif; Burncll, Martinez, Calif; Mrs. Frank (La Voy) Chugg, No. Hollywood; Mrs. Ernest (Louise) Hassel-field, Paramount, Calif; Mrs. Charles (Bernlce) Darling, La Pucnte, Calif; 39 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; a half-brother, Lawrence Fallis, Firth, Idaho. |
