Show Students of Month Listed at School Nine students at Panguitch Elementary share honors as September Sep-tember "S"dents of the Month." One boy and one girl were Interviewed In-terviewed by the News about their likes and dislikes and how they see their future. Fourth grader, Nica Clark, enjoys school and says she likes her teacher a lot. She particularly likes math and says she's really not sure what the future will hold, but she's excited to see what it will bring. Tyler Jolley, on the other hand, says he has his life all planned out. The enthusiastic fifth grader likes P.E. and math and after college says he's going to play professional football with the Washington Redskins. Other equally exuberant and dedicated student winners are Travis Staheli, morning kindergarten; kin-dergarten; Katrina Bagnell, first grade; Annie Holman, first and second combined grades; Holly Nelson, second grade; Tyler Owens, afternoon kindergarten; Patricia Howard, third grade; and Rachel Nolan, fourth and fifth grade combined class. Good citizenship is a prime requisite for being nominated as Student of the Month at Panguitch Elementary and behavior is an important part of good citizenship since it affects the other students. Attendance is another factor considered including punctuality. A student's ability to express self-confidence self-confidence in. assigned tasks also enters into the selection process. Academic improvement is the most important factor since it is considered to be the most significant guage of a student's progress.
