Show Ithe weddinc RINC WINS OVER PRIZE RING One of the jolliest events of the season sea-son was the wedding of V. Loren Clair and Miss Olivia Rasmussen, at the ; home of the bride on Monday, August 1, 1910. In the presence of the many i neighbors and friends of the family at j tke head of a long table laden with all 1 the good things of the garden, orchard . and market, set on the lawn. Bishop Akelund pronounced the words which joined these two young people for life. Immediately following the ceremony I the party partook of the wedding din-j din-j ner and all went merry for the several i hours before they had all wished the young couple their best and departed for their homes. Miss Olivia Rasmussen is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Rasmussen and has grown to womanhood in Castle-dale. Castle-dale. She is lively and vivacious and has always had friends by the score. She is well able to make for the man of her choice a good home and that Clair has chosen wisely is evident to anyone who knows her good qualities. Frank Loren Clair is comparatively a , stranger here, having been here only a few months. He is a painter by trade and come here to work on Ihe Academy. Since that he has become pretty well known through his abilities as a boxer, : he having taken part in the contest at j Castledale on the 4th and at Ferron on j the 24th. This sport he has now en- I tii-ely given up and has no intention of j ever again entering the ring. He is a self-made man, having been on his own resources since he was nine years old. ! Many handsome and useful articles j were received by the young couple as ! mementos of the good wishes of their j friends on their wedding day.
