With the coming of a new year, and with the renewal of our hopes and ambitions, New Years resolutions are always in order. Lets make a few together, as a student-body. Lets resolve : To take advantage of opportunities that come our way To make our Alma Mater successful so far as our uniting efforts can do it ; To be loyal to our dear old D. N. C. ; after our last edition of the Owl had come from the press, that one of the stories printed as origWe discovered, inal, and to which was signed one of our students names, had been copied from a late magazine. We wish to apologize to our readers for this mistake, of which we were entirely unaware until it was too late to mend the matter. To the students, we wish to say that we appreciate very much any material from you which would be suitable for The Owl, but please do not hand in to us anything with your name signed to it unless it is really yours. If it is not original please tell us so, that in the future we will be able to avoid such mistakes.
