Show WEEKLY REFLEX-DAV- NEWS JOURNAL, MAY 5, 1977 iS E3L Last Concert: At LHS Cornucopia No. 3, the last concert of this senes for this school year, will be presented Thursday, May 12 at Layton High School at8p m. THESE concerts are designed to present a cornucopia of music from the public schools, colleges, and from the universities, churches, communities, and civic organizations and from all areas of Davis County. Concert No. 3 presents just such a varied musical menu. THE featured and concluding group will be the Layton High School Concert Choir. Their director, Paul Christensen, in his three years at Lay-to- n has developed one of the states finest high school choirs. This group alone would be worth the trip to the Layton High School Auditorium. One of the most unique groups for this concert will be the Golden Years senior citizens orchestra from the Bountiful area. Their director is Marvin Strong, former director of the Salt Lake Municipal Band and former supervisor of music of the Granite School District. The orchestra is relatively small but is a splendid example of senior citizens who have maintained their musical talents and wfto enjoy playing and ferforming for others.
