Show obituary Ruby Parker Welch dies at age 84 Ruby Jane Parker Welch. 84, died Saturday. Dec. 21. 1985 in Logan. She was born June 23. 1901 in Cave Lakes. Utah, a daughter of William and Mary Jane Lamb Parker. Par-ker. She married Wilford W. Welch on May 12. 1920 in the Man-ti Man-ti LDS Temple. He died April 25. 1973. SHE WAS reared in Fredonia. Ariz, and southern Utah. After her marriage she lived in Paradise for two years and then moved to Logan where she lived the remainder remain-der of herlife. She was a member of the LIDS Church, having served as an officer and teacher in the various va-rious auxiliaries. She also worked with the PTA. served as president of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and active ac-tive in the Disabled Veterans Auxiliary. SURVIVORS include three sons. . Wilford Woodruff Welch Jr.. Orlando. Fla.: Ray L. Welch. Phoenix. Ariz.: David N. Welch. Bountiful: two daughters. Mrs. Robert E. (Helen) Athay. Arlington. Arling-ton. Va.: Mrs. John W. (Joan Marie) Loosle. Logan. Also three brothers. Kenll Parker. Par-ker. Fredonia. Ariz.: Six Lamb Parker. Flagstaff. Ariz.: Wilson LcRoy Parker. Montezuma Lake. Ariz.: two sisters. Lucille P. Fraley. Victorville. Calif.: Nina Jean Perkins. Taylor. Ariz.: 20 grandchildren: 29 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. SHE WAS preceded in death by six brothers, one sister and one grandchild. Funeral services were Tuesday. Dec. 24 in Logan. Interment in the Paradise cemetery. |
