Cherry Lane, died Friday, Feb. 10,' 1989, at a Clearfield nursing home as a result of a stroke. ; She was born April 1 lt 1907, in-Clinton, in-Clinton, a daughter of John George and Elizabeth Grace Mason Ross. She married. Jessie Ervin Wall Aug. 23, 1926 in Clinton. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Feb. 1, 1928. She was reared in Clinton attending attend-ing Clinton Elementary and graduating gra-duating from North Davis High School in Syracuse. : She had lived in East Layton for the past 62 years. . She was a member of the East Layton Third LDS Ward and served as-ward organist, Primary organist, Primary teacher and visiting teacher.' tea-cher.' She enjoyed fishing, music, and crocheting and had taken several blue ribbons at the Utah State Fair for her crocheting. She also enjoyed children, r She had worked at local canning factories and the Ogdcn Arsenal during World WarU. Surviving are her husband of East Layton; two sons and one daughter, Arlo E. Wall, LaMar R. Wall, Mrs. George (Delia) Boam, all of East Layton; 1 3 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and Hwo sisters, VernS. Ross, Lay-ton; Lay-ton; Hannah Layne, Ogdcn; Mrs. Waynard (Ida) Adams, Clearfield. She was preceded in death by twin great-granddaughters, ' two AGNES R. WALL brothers and four sisters. . .
