Calling the signals for a quick and talented offense is Kyle Johnson with Marty Treasures backing him up. At running backs are fleet footed Scott Carruth and Kurt Storey with Bob Stoffeors seeing plenty of action. Doing most of the receiving this year is slotback Mike Bar land, split end Todd Egbert and tight end Cory Stevenson. Featuring a tough offensive line are tackles Dennis Glover and Brett Hart, guards Kent Baker and Tony Peak and center Kary Jeppson. The Knights have so much talent on offense that 11 new players start on defense. The defensive ends include Swenson and Carruth. Peak, Hart and Glover finish out the lineman. Knight linebackers are Jeppson, Baker, Stoffeors, and Bar land. Storey and Johnson will fill in the safety positions. Coach Morris feels that with the talent and desire they do have they should win some football games. Taking the helm at quarterback will be David Conniff , with Bill Cleaverly at fullback, and Joe Parker and Roger Thomas as the tailbacks. Catching passes will be tight ends Mike Crosby and Troy Lynch. Opening the holes up front will be tackles Matt Galiegbs and Mark Jenson, guards John Serrano and John Rader and center Kevin Walser. Starting defensively as linemen are Parker, Serrano, Gallegos and Rader. Filling in the linebacker positions will be Crosby, Mike Letts and Cleaverly. Taking the defensive backs slots are Mike Ames, Rob Allred, Thomas and Scott Maw. Highland In pro football you cant count anyone out until the season ends. This rule should apply to the Ogden City Jr. High league. Highland may not be favored from the start, but they could be one of the spoilers this year. According to football Coach Doug Christiansen. Leading this years offensive squad is quarterback Murray Rodgers with fullback Grant Windley and tailback Kevin Hubbard doing the running.
