Show n THE CITIZEN Revue De La Ville TEA, attended by scores of guests, R. D. Harriman and Mr. and Mrs. was given Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. James Ivers, Jr., by Mrs. Ivers, Mrs. Arthur Sullivan and Miss Margaret Collins, a bride of Sat urday. The hall, living room, and library were decorated in a yellow color scheme, developed with marigolds, sunflowers and Black-eye- d Susans. Purple asters were used in the drawing room and pink roses in the reception room. In the dining room large, d yellow chrsyanthemums were with blue cornflowers in an effective centerpiece for the tea table. Bows of delft blue maline surrounded the basket, on a cluny cover over yellow. Four silver candlesticks at the corners of the table held blue candles. Those who assisted in receiving were Mrs. J. D. Sullivan and Mrs. C. J. Collins. Presiding at the tea table were Mrs. J. C. Lynch, Mrs. J. J. Burke, Mrs. C. A. Quigley and Mrs. Edward McGurrin. Among those serving were Miss Alice Felt, Miss Emma Quigley, Miss Julia Stephens, Miss Florence Collins and Miss Hazel Clark. Among those who aided in entertaining were Mrs. Jane Cann, Mrs. Marcellus Snow and Mrs. W. N. Lewis. Receiving the guests cards at the door were little James Ivers and Grace Mary Ivers. An orchestra on the balcony in the hall furnished music during the afternoon. Two hundred invitations were issued. Mrs. Edmund J. Kearns entertained at luncheon at the Newhouse Tuesday in honor of Miss Collins. Asters in different colors formed the center-piec- e for the table, and a corsage bouquet was at each place. Covers were laid for Miss Collins, Miss Florence Collins, Miss Florence Sullivan, Miss Gertrude Geoghegan, Miss Kathleen Geoghegan, Miss Helen Hanna, Miss Katherine Fitzgerald, Miss Claire Driscoll, Mrs. J. Chrysanthemums, ferns and palms were used in decorating the rooms. A light supper was served at midnight. The patrons and patronesses included Dr. and Mrs. Catholic Womans League will its regular monthly meeting next Tuesday evening, October 14th, at the Ladies Literary club, at 8:30 oclock. The feature of the evening will be an address by the Most Rev. Edward J. Hanna, Archbishop of San Francisco. After the meeting, a reception will be given in honor of the Archbishop and other distinguished prelates who are visiting in the city at the time. The hostesses of the evening will be Mrs. John T. White, Mrs. Henry Welsh, Mrs. Richard Treanor, Mrs. M. A. Burke, Mrs. P. S. Keogh and Mrs. Timothy OConnor. This is an open meeting of the League, which all interested friends of the organization are invited to attend. DELTA Omega sorority of the of Utah entertained at a banquet Tuesday evening at the Hotel Utah in honor of freshmen girls of the university. The tables were arranged in the shape of the Greek letter Chi. Miss Golda Hyde acted as toastmistress and tasts were given by Miss Mildred Girard, Miss Grace Richards and Mrs. Rex Williams.
