Bernhisel returned to Lewiston Saturday from a two week trip to several states. They joined the Jay M. Bernhisel family at Fort Bragg, Calif., in Winona, Minn., and spent three days there. Jay has been teaching a summer school class in biology at St. Marys College in Winona, and the class ended on Aug. 9. From there the group drove to Milwaukee and on Sunday crossed Lake Michigan on a steamer, landing at Mich. After a day there, Jay and family turned eastward and will visit in New York and Washington, D. C, before returning to Bragg for the school year. The II. F. Bernhisels went west to Montana where they spent two days with relatives, Mrs. E. T. Dahle and family and Mr. and Mrs. Mack Davidson and family. They came home by way of Yellowstone and Grand Teton Parks. At Jenny Lake Lodge they visited briefly with Marc Bernhisel, a grandson, who is employed there. Dr. and Mrs. Dennis Allen and three children of Chico, Calif., are visiting in Cache Valley with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Allen of Lewiston and Mrs. Elva Reese of Benson ward. Mr. and Mrs. Granville Barlow of Lewiston entertained mid-weste- rn Fort at a dinner party at their Fort home on Aug. 9. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dean A.
