Breitenbeker are their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Jackman and Mr. and Mrs. DeVon Breitenbeker both of Brigham City. The couple were married in a the n beautiful sacred ceremony January 7 in the Salt Lake LDS temple with many friends and relatives attending. Parents of the groom hosted the wedding party at a luncheon in Salt Lake at the Lion House. That same evening the couple were honored at a reception in the North Brigham City stake cultural hall and were thrilled to greet the number who came to share their joy and wish them well. Prior to the wedding the bride was honored with showers given by Nancy Harrison, a college roommate; Teton Jackman, her grandmother; Beverly Miggin, her neighbor; and by her young friends in Brigham City. Also a special family home evening was held to honor Brenna and David with members of both families attending. Their lives were reviewed and special events related by narration, colored slides and music. After their honeymoon to California, the couple will reside in Brigham City where they will both work and the groom will continue his education in interior design. Civic Improvement club will meet on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 3:30 p.m. at the Community Center. Program for the afternoon will focus on Women in our Heritage to be presented by Beth Gurrister, chairman of the Governors Commission on the Status of Women, and by Sarah Yates, who has been researching and writing a local historical series for the newspaper. Mrs. Gurrister will focus primarily on western women, particularly those affecting Utah history. Mrs. Yates will give sketches of some of the womens organizations in Brigham City, and personal stories of some of the women who helped both1 to build Brigham City pioneer and in modern days. The meeting will begin with refreshments served at 3:30 p.m. and a social time, and business begins at 4 p.m. under the direction of Mary Stoner, president. reminiscing that rounded most pleasant family By Ruth Visits Dad Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ball have just returned from a three-wee- k trip to London, England It was going home for Mrs. Ball who is a native of England. She went at this time to see her father who is seriously ill. She enjoyed visiting with her brother and other relatives and friends. Mrs. George (Dora Mae) Michael of Provo and Daughter Comes Mr. and Mrs. George Hacking were so happy to have their daughter Mrs. David (Marye-len- ) Brown visit them for a week from her home in Honolulu, Hawaii. She came here to attend the missionary farewell for her mother and father. They will leave this weekend for a mission in the Massachusetts, Boston area. While she was here another daughter of the Hackings Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Pounder of Salt Lake City also came and the two girls helped them pack and get son-in-la- SuDportinq our heritage of free enterprise Couple enjoys combined visit, business trip Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Miller combined business and a family visit on Friday and Saturday, flying to Denver to attend an open house for a new office complex recently completed by the D.C. Miller company. D.C. Miller is their son and president of the company, and Mr. Miller is chairman of the board of directors. They were guests at the homes of sons and daughters-in-laDoug and Loreene Miller and Jim and Carol Miller, and between meetings they were able to visit their five grandchildren. The D.C. Miller company earlier completed a large office complex at Ft. Collins, Colo., which is the national headquarters for the water pic company. Underway at Evergreen Park in Ft. Collins is another office complex for a major life insurance company, a shopping center, a 140 unit condominium housing project, and two industrial warehouses. Miller said the company is working on plans for another office building in Littleton, Colo., a housing a recreation project in Wyoming, and an office complex in Lincoln, Neb.1 i Yeshoro club club will hold its regular meeting this month on Saturday, Jan. 22, rather than on its regular Friday meeting. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Jeanette Nelson, 138 North Second East. Mrs. Nelson will not only be hostess for the evening, but will also be in charge of program. Homemakers to exercise WHOS NEW Willard Bay chapter of Utah Young Homemaker association will meet on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Willard elemen- tary school. An exercise instructor will be the guest for the evening, and members are urged to come dressed appropriately for an evening of exercising and fun. Elections will be held on the nominees for new officers for the chapter.
