Local area ladies who want to lose a few pounds This reporter plans to keep up the tradition of going fishing, camping, hunting or skiing at least once a A shape-u- p exercise is scheduled each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 8 to 9 p.m. in the Box Elder Junior High school gym. Shelley Nichols is the instructor. Immediately following from 9 to 10 p.m., Karen Whitaker will instruct a ladies swim and trim class. The courses are $5 each and will run for 10 weeks. They are offered through Box Even though I'm a fantastic chef the kitchen, who can put together a gourmet delight quicker than you can say chicken .... Z will not brag in school program. Z will pay income taxes even though their outrageous, but yours truly still doesn't like 'em. 'I Christmas I morning about 10 a.m.1 - our basement apartment was really threatening to overflow. I was boiling out the hm-hinto the bathtub and, in between times, hauling out waste baskets of water from the bathtub up to the lawn son was calling Mr. Dixon and my (I believe it was). He came over lovely man. The people upstairs had three or four inches of water all over their basement floor. So he brought over his equipment and cleaned out the sewer for us. I just want to say what could have been a miserable weekend turned out marvelously well because of this very nice man. I vote him the man of the year and a very appreciative thanks. I would like to m eight-year-o- featuring live music, refreshments and much fun. The Hull orchestra presents the dance music from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. each Thursday. Henry and Jennie Nielsen are the new dance committee chairmen and plan innovations for the dance. All adults are invited to enjoy this evening of fun. Just begin with the volunteer fire department, the Box Elder Jeep patrol, the nursing home volunteer helpers, workers in fund drives, workers in community health projects. The list goes on and on. At this same show and sales, Anderson had the reserve champion ewe, first place ewe lamb, second place ram lamb, second place pen of three yearling ewes and second place pen of three ewe lambs. He captured awards for the champion ram, champion ewe and was a first place winner in each class at the Utah State fair in Salt Lake City. He was named premier breeder over all breeds. In addition he had the highest selling pen of Columbia rams at the National Ram Sale in Salt Lake City in August. Jn San Francisco at the Grand National Livestock show he had the champion ewe, the champion ram and received first place blue ribbons in all classes, with the exception of two, on his show flock. We had the champion ram, champion refreshments, reserve ewe, champion ewe and all first place winners from our flock at the Golden Spike National Livestock show in Ogden, Anderson commented, we also had the champion ewe, reserve champion ram at the Chicago Verl H. Friday luncheon will feature a good, nutritious meal for 64 cents, which is followed by a program. Harold Anderson will present Box Elder High School students in a physical fitness demonstration. Transportation will be arranged for anyone calling the center, requesting it. Reservations must be made by Thursday for those planning to attend the luncheon. Trip Postponed The bus trip to the Salt Lake area to see the Christmas lights, Trolley Square and the planetarium was postponed, due to inclement weather. Plans are being made to reschedule the trip, after Jan. 16 when the planetarium will reopen. Eighty persons signed for the trip, with two buses being furnished by the community school program, arranged by Les Dunn, director, at a charge of $1 each. in to be a challenging problem to the range owners.
