Following his meetings they stayed longer and thoroughly enjoyed the Bicentennial atmosphere of that city and a chance to see its famous landmarks. From there they went to Washington D.C. where their son Bruce, just graduated from BYU last spring, flew back and joined them. They toured all the interesting places in our nation's Capitol, visited the LDS Temple there and then took their son with them to Philadelphia so he could enjoy that city and its friendly people. They traveled to New York City and spent several days, visited Palmyra, N.Y., and other LDS church sites, then went to Niagra Falls. They saw the Kirtland Temple, stayed one night in Chicago, went into Indiana and spent a night With a cousin then visited Nauvoo and other' early LDS church historical sites. They returned home through Cheyenne after a most enjoyable vaca- , tion according to Mrs. Nielsen. Visits Overseas Mrs. M. J. They all met at the Juniper Inn at Smithfield for dinner, then went to the Lyric Theatre to see the presentation of The Contrast. This is a play adapted by Anthony Stimac from a 1787 play bv Royall Tyler. The concept of style for The Contrast is American restoration.
