Show Willard Wrapup BOX Last week the kids were out of school for two days making the Easter weekend four days long. Cooped up with four active children was not my idea of a vacation. So when husband asked us all to go to Reno with him while he delivered a house trailer, we jumped at the chance. I figured the kids would sleep most of the way and besides we'd probably make it in one day. That just goes to show you how dumb I am when it comes to judging distance. We drove and drove and drove and drove. When we ran out of sunlight we were not quite half way and I was exhausted by kids jumping back and forth over the seats. Id strained so hard trying to understand the CB drawl, I developed a huge headache. Since we were driving West directly into the sun, my eyes were squinty and about ready to pop out of my head. I was a real mess and all I wanted to do was sleep. But at the motel when I tried to settle everyone down they all were just like clocks . . .wound up tight. No Make-U- p The next morning I discovered Id left every bit of make-u- p home. I had a comb (barely, it boasted three te,th,X Ive been to drug spores in my time, but this was u real department store. Righ,t next to the make-uand shaving lotion was a complete stock of liquor supplies. I decided that if a person couldnt look better, you can drink enough to think you do. The next to that was the fishing tackle and prominently displayed was the sign Fish bait at camera bar. Being a nosey person I wandered over just in time to see a man purchase a box of wiggly worms. He also had bought a container of ice cream (packaged in the same type box) at the soda shop and a bottle of booze. By the time I got back to the motel I was in stitches. I could see him drinking a bit too much, mixing up the containers and trying to get some of the ice p cream on the hook. It made the rest of the trip bearable, even when I lost a mckle in the slot machine.
