Gibbs left Salt Lake City by plane Thursday for Nashville, Tenn., to visit with her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. (Bud) Hall of Hopkinsville, Ky. Mrs. Hall is hospitalized at Nashville and is very ill. granddaughter, Shauna Gibbs came for them. Mr. and Mrs. Ora H. John attended a family dinner Wednesday at Rigby, Idaho hosted by Mr. Johns sister, Mrs. Laura Hess at her home. On Thursday and Friday of last week Mrs. Thelma D. Gibbs, accompanied by her sister, Mrs. Wm. H. Rutter of Malad, visited with Richard Gibbs of American Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Junius L. Crowther of Orem and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Castleton of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morris joined family members, Mr. and Mrs. Thayne Hupp and daughters of Hansel Valley, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Yarman and family of Clearfield at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Morris and family of Garland and celebrated Easter together. Elder and Mrs. Devere Harris and daughter, Lori attended the sunrise services at the Tremon-to- n Fifth ward on Easter Sunday and Elder Harris was the guest speaker at the early morning sacrament meeting there. Dila (Gibbs) Peterson and daughter Julie of Renton, Wash., were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Harris Wednesday. They were returning from Provo where they had visited with their son and brother, Ross Peterson, a BYU student. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. David P. Gibbs, Fay Thomas and Laura Gibbs and were planning to visit with Mrs. Petersons parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tasman Gibbs at Moreland, Idaho before returning to Renton. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth M. Ward of Idaho Falls came Sunday to take Mrs. Wards parents, Mr. andMrs. John F. Conley to thejr home for a weeks visit. Mrs. Audrey (HWell) Erickson and son Van of Kaysville Open House Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Harris were among those who attended open house in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Nat Waldron on their golden wedding day at the Lions Den in Malad Saturday evening. Elder Devere Harris met with stake presidents in a planning meeting at Twin Falls Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Chester P. Neal were called to Eden, Idaho Thursday due to the illness of their Lynn Wiser who was hospitalized at Twin Falls. They returned the following evening. Wisers condition improved and he and his wife spent the weekend with the Neals. Miss Lori Harris and Corey Christensen were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Smith and daughter Ami of Rexburg Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They enjoyed skiing at Targee. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Callister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Craig' Morris and family of Ogden, Mr. and Mfs. Ken Johnston and family of Woods Cross visited with their parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morris. The group did yardwork and enjoyed dinner together. A large number of ward members attended Malad stake son-in-la- attended sacrament meeting Sunday evening and also visited with relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs Allen accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Allen of Malad, Mrs. Letitia Sorenson of East Garland and Duggan Allen of Ogden to Bountiful where they attended the wedding reception honoring Mr. and Mrs. Gene Schliewe at the Corillon Saturday evening. Mrs. Schliewe was the former Ann Johnston, daughter of Mrs. Joanne Johnston and granddaughter of Mrs. Cleopha Allen Stewart. Vaughn Morris and Mark Worthon of Salt Lake City spent the weekend as guests of Vaughns parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nielsen of Garland, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Nielsen and family enjoyed an Easter hike with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielsen Saturday. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cannon and family of North Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Cannon of Delta, were their Easter dinner guests. The children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and other activities. Argentine call to BC elder Elder Craig Rawlins will be honored Sunday, April 17, in the Brigham City 23rd ward sacrament meeting prior to his leaving for the Argentina Cordova Mission of the L.D.S. church. Elder Rawlins is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rawlins of 669 North Sixth East, Brigham City, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Pali of Elwood and Thelma Rawlins of Paradise. The elder invites all friends and relatives to attend his farewell testimonial at 6:15 p.m. at the Brigham City North stake center at 620 North Third East. He enters the language training mission on April 28. Elder Rawlins attended Utah State university prior to accepting his mission call and is affiliated with Sigma Chi fraternity.
