Show f r t ! Zelma Jones Obituaries Mrs. Zelma Jones, 83, of i City, died Sunday night, April 10, 1977, in Brigham City Community hospital of natural causes. She was born May 9, 1893, in Nashville, Ark., a daughter of T.B. and Paulina Young Hays. She was married to Elery Huddleston in 1914. He died in 1918. She was married to D.N. Jones in June 1923 in Nashville, Ark. He died Jan. 11, 1970. She resided in Nashville, Ark., until coming to Brigham City in October of 1971 to live with a daughter. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Nashville. Surviving are three sons, T.I. Jones, Texarkana, Ark.; Ruel Huddleston, Marion, Ark.; Neal Jones, Wake Village, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie A. DAsto, Brigham City; Mrs. Opal Hodges, Memphis, Ark.; Mrs. Sula McKinney, Oklahoma City, Okla.; seven grandchildren and two one sister, Mrs. Mamie Morrison, Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) in Nashville, Ark. Interment will be in Nashville cemetery. John Fred Hess 7vn - John Fred Hess, 41, of Fielding, was found deffd Sunday, April 10, 1977, in his truck north of Fielding of a gunshot wound. He was born May 31, 1935, in Fielding, a son of James Stanley and LaVona Thornton Hess. He was reared and educated in Bear River valley. He married Rula Haslam on Nov. 6, 1959, in Wellsville. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS temple on April 3, 1965. He was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Fielding LDS ward and had served as elders quorum secre- tary, deacons quorum adviser and home teacher. Surviving are his widow of Fielding; one son and three daughters, Lonnie Hess, Cynthia Hess, Susan Hess and Kristy Hess, all of Fielding; his mother of Ogden. Also surviving are five brothers and three sisters, Stirl Hess, Tremonton; Vern Hess, Garland; Lyle Hess, North Hollywood, Calif.; Grant Hess, West Africa; DeVere Hess, Mrs. Frank (Marie) Quinn, Mrs. Lowell (Fayne) Capener, all of Ogden; Mrs. Evelyn Lott, Willard. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday in the Fielding Ward chapel with Bishops Counselor Ralph Udy officiat- Interment was in cemetery. Fielding Harold A. Bouck, Jr., 54, of North Eighth East, Brigham City, died Wednesday, April 13, 1977 at his home of cancer. He was born April 25, 1922, at Albany, N.Y., a son of Harold A. and Eliza Coats Bouck Sr. He married Gene Hess on Oct. 5, 1944 in Brigham City. He was reared and educated in Schoharie, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean war. He had been employed at Thiokol Corp. as a quality control supervisor for the past 19Vi years. He was a former officer and director in the Brigham City Chamber of Commerce, served in scouting as a cubmaster, was a former director and member of the Brigham City Golf and Country Club, former member of the Brigham City Fire deJ partment and an elder in. the Brigham City 13th ward. He is survived by his widow of Tyler Five young men in the Brigham City 10th ward have been awarded Duty to God awards after completion of requirements.
