Thats the way it was for Box Elders baseball bunch Wednesday afternoon as visiting Roy destroyed the local nine, 10-to claim the Region One championship. There was some consolation for the Bees in taking second with a league mark. Under this years prep setup, they also advance into the state playoffs. The Hivers meet Hillcrest High, Region Four champs, at Ken Price park, Murray, Monday at 5:30 p.m. Roy is scheduled to meet Region Twos Layton, runner-uin that prep circuit, in a 12:30 p.m. match Monday, also at Ken Price. and a couple of errors. The visitors did it again in the sixth, getting a run on a hit an error and a fielders choice. They capped the scoring in the seventh on Lonnie Hipwells triple and a single by Kent batsman, three-bagge- Not Discernible If there was a strength for the Bees in this one it wasnt readily discernible. Weber tallied single runs in the second and third innings, picked up two more in the sixth and pushed across a final run in the seventh. It was a big day for the yagi brothers who scored five of Box Elders seven runs. Each had two hits as did Bingham who hasnt seen that much playing time this year.
