B. & Associates, , 510 Zions Savings Bank Building, both of Salt Lake City, Utah. .Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Copies of Plans and Specifications may ibe obtained from the Office of the Board of Education of viewed In the Office of L. B. Ghwan & Associates, Salt Lake City, Utah. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check payable to the Owner, or a 'bid bond in favor of the Ownas er, executed by the Bidder Principal and a satisfactory Surety Company as surety, in ad amount not less than five perceht of the Maximum amount of the bid. The check or bid bond shall foe given as a guarantee that the bidder will execute the Contract, if it is awarded to him, in conformity with the Contract Documents and will bond or provide the surety bonds as specified therein within. five days after notification of the award of the Contract. Mrs. Mae B Christensen taught the ladies how to make beautiful corsages from rayon embroidery thread. A delicious lunch was served at one oclock by the hostesses, LaVela Mrs. Mattesen, IMaggie M. Anderson, and Arvilla Meda Holmgren Holmgren. The following program was presented, song by ladies chorus, under the direction of Victoria Johnson, composed of Pearl Gertrude Rita Anderson, Iverson, Wanda Johnsen, Lela Anderson and Gae Anderson; reading by Melba Checketts; and a vocal solo by Bonnie Rae Bigler. Mr. and Mis. Leon Strong motored to Salt Lake City, Tuesday, to meet their daughter, Mrs. Loralie S. Stowell and children who came by plane from their home in New Haven, Conn. Dr. Paul Stowell, Loralies husband, will arrive some time this week The Stowells are planning on making their home In Salt Lake City, where Dr. Stowell will interne at the general hospital. C. M. Smith and his wife, Erma R. Smith of San Francisco, Bud, Calif., and their son, Smith of Salt Lake City visited Mr. and Mrs. Duffy Anderson Thursday. Another visitor at the Anderson home was Mrs. Charles (Esther) Brown of Brigham City. The ladies are sisters.. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Jenson spent last week in Salt Lake City visiting their daughter, Eleanor Williams and family. While there they were also dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. Mrs. Carrie A. Christensen, Mrs. Sine Anderson, and Mrs. Gertrude C. Iverson attended La-Ru- e funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Knudson, wife of Hans Knudson, held at the Fifth ward In Brigham City, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Leonard and family spent the holiday week end in Huntington. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their meeting at the home of Mrs. Carrie J. Christensen, Friday afternoon. Ida M. Checketts presented the lesson on "The Mormon Battalion. Mrs. Jennie L. Nebeker and Janet Packer of Ogden; Mrs. Leona H. Rees of Brigham City, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Harper of Harper ward, were guests at the Mary J Holmgren home on Memorial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Holmgren of Conner Springs visited Pratts parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Holmgren one day last week. (Margretta) Anderson had the misfortune to slip her right and fall, fracturing '' wrist. Mr. and Mrs. E. Practice Sessions al Park Next Week Rains' this week disrupted planned practice sessions for baseball teams of the service club league, and new periods have been designated for next week, it was announced by Harold Anderson, league coach.
