Show F.E. TURNER FUNERAL TODAY Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday afternoon in the Masonic Temple, Salt Lake City, for Frederick Eugene Turner, 65, widely known mining min-ing man, who died of natural causes at noon Sunday at his home, 1109 Ninth East street, Salt Lake City. Mr. Turner had been associated associat-ed with Alfred Frank in mining ventures 40 years and at the time of his death was general superintendent super-intendent for Exploration Syndicate, Syndi-cate, Inc., a Salt Lake concern, in charge of operations of the East Camp gold and silver mine in the Steeple Rock district of New Mexico. While he was in Bingham Mr. Turner was superintendent of Ohio Copper company. He lett in 1930 to go to New Mexico A son of John P. and Nellie Hess Turner, he was born in Springfield, I1U January 28, 1878. His wife, the former Miss Jane Mace, whom he married in Salt Lake City in 1899, died m 1937 Mr. Turner was a member of Canyon lodge No. 13, F. & A. M, and of Martha chapter No. 7, Order of Eastern Star, both of Bingham. , Surviving are two sons, rrea P. Turner of Morenci, Ariz., and Carter Charles Turner of Salt Lake City; four daughters, Miss Lola Turner Mrs. J. At Fike and Mrs W. J- O'Connor Jr. of Salt Lake City; Mrs. W. A Fike of Copperton; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Gardiner and Mrs. Dot Manning, both of Los Angeles. |
