Show COUNCIL STUDIES ROUTINEMATTERS Main topic of city council discussion dis-cussion Wednesday was the 1941 budget, which will be whipped into final form before January 1. The budget is expected to total an estimated $47,000 as compared compar-ed to $45,464.66 in this year's budget. Council members approved ap-proved $988. 28 in November accounts ac-counts for payment-Elliott payment-Elliott W- Evans, city attorney, presented for study of city officers offic-ers a series of model ordinances which have been adopted by the Utah Municipal league. Revision of some city ordinances is now under consid6ration. The installation of rest rooms in the City hall will cost an estimated esti-mated $500 and that amount is being earmarked for the improvement improve-ment in the 1941 budget. Other salient facts of the budget bud-get report given by Mr. Morris were: expense on Dry Fork water wa-ter tunnel for November, $485-98; total expense to November 30, 1940, on tunnel. $2972 83; Budget appropriation for the month public safety, $944.41; streets and sewers. $789.22; water wa-ter department, $2833.39; gener al funds, $707.40; bonds, notes and interest, $555-63. The report of Francis A- Miller, Mil-ler, justice of peace, showed $78 in fines collected in city court from November 1 to November 30 and $93 assessed- Recorder Eugene Morris' report re-port showed revenue for November Nov-ember amounting to $2904-26- O |
