Page 9 Sophomore royalty Furgeson, fifth was Wade Owen, sixth was Micehelle Nielson, seventh place went to Gordon Olsen, eighth went to Trissy Dun woody, Bob Wheeler took ninth and Troy Judkins placed tenth. In the State German Contest held recently, Weber High School again won the Sweepstakes Award by capturing 8 out of a possible 10 places. These places are awarded to the top 10 German students in the state of Utah. This competition was conducted by means of written exams and by personal interviews in the language. The written test consisted of vocabulary, grammer, listening and reading. Finalists were then chosen for a personal interview in German. Mr. Rowley reports that Rulon Eames was again considered the best all-arou- German student in Junior Prom royalty were announced last Saturday at the Weber State Ballroom. Just some of the winners included Julie Griffin, Lyndie Gardner, Melinda Apfel, Craig Jorgensen, John Bertagnolli, Collen Custelly, Sheri Muirbrook, Randy Lewis, Scott Forsberg, Mike Kinyon and Lisa Griffiths. Mr. Cefalo reports that one top science fair project will be selected to go to the International Fair in El Paso, Texas.
