For years, APADACA performed with the COPPERTONES: his new band, the NEWBORN has crossed over to upcountry sounds which his loyal fans follow .with dedication throughout the Intermountain West. Fans will remember ERN and THE NEW BORN as show stoppers when they appeared in concert for Oden City last August in Lester Park. Some 3,000 fans braved the threat of rain to applaud their favorite entertainer. Sharing the spotlight with ERN at the VA Christmas program December 18 will be BRENDA COLLINS, Utahs teenage singing sensation from Salt Lake City. BRENDA has many credits to her long list of accomplishments which include performances with SAMMI SMITH, LITTLE JIMMY DICKENS AND BILLY ARMSTRONG. A guest appearance with a famous Nashville band at the DUNES hotel in Las Vegas certified BRENDA for her own band. After an hour musical, Golden Spike Country Music will serve refreshments and distribute treats and gifts to the patients. Assisting with the party will be: MR AND MRS. GLEN WILSON of Clinton, ALICE MOORE, NORMA WEBB AND BONNIE SMITH, Washington Terrace. GOLDEN SPIKE COUNTRY MUSIC will also furnish the entertainment for the Lifers at Utah State prison, when the inmates hold their annual Christmas party for their families.
