Judges in the 1979 event included LeGrande Hobbs, Sieve Clark, Spencer Seager, Helen James, Mr. McBride, Dr. Pashley, Dr. Emron Jensen, Dr. Havertz, Cheri Stephanie Stoffers Marine Technology awards were given to Suann Christensen, Lamar Parker, and Clifford Stein. Receiving JETS Awards were Bob Wheeler, Kelly B. Richins and Brett Forsberg. The U.S. Army gave awards to Jeff Blacker, Linda Wride, Doug Suann Droesbeke, Christensen, Doug Cleary, Richard Ramroth, Bob Wheeler, Wendy Burgess, Brett Julie Forsberg, O Bezeyack, Brad Cookson, Ken Pribbble, and Robert Jusko. Finally the U.S. Air Force gave awards to Suann Christensen, Doug Cleary, Richard Ramroth, Jeff Blacker, Bob Wheeler, Wendy Burgess, Linda Droesbeke, Brett Forsberg, Julie Brad Bezyack, Kenneth Pribble and Robert Jusko. In the awards assembly at bell for his prize were both Droesbeke awarded first place in the Medical and Dental class. Craig Warner took second and Monica West placed third. These schools are located throughout the district to be within easy access of all citizens. Classes are planned in areas ranging from disco dancing for adults to calligraphy handwriting. or elaborate Our Goal, according to Ron Stephens, district is to provide coordinator, vocational avocational and pure enjoyment activities for as many of our citizens as possible.
