Show BOARD RETAINS COUNTY AGENT At the meeting of the County Commissioners Com-missioners at Beaver City last Monday Mon-day the Board took up the matter of the County Farm Agent. If there had been any doubt as to the desire of the farmers in the matter it must have been answered effectively by their personal arguments as well as by the petition signed by the officers of the local farm bureaus throughout through-out the county. The Board decided unanimously to retain the office and will make the necessary appropriation appropria-tion for the maintenance of the or-fice or-fice in connection with the U. S. Agricultural Ag-ricultural Dept. and the State Agricultural Agri-cultural College in co-operation. The work is only fairly begun. To drop the work now would moan a loss of miu'li of what has been accomplished in the way of educating the farmers in modern scientific methods and cooperation co-operation in marketing. A |
