Show louise gillins, robep.t Mcknight married dec. 30 The LDS Church Chap.-l was the selling of the well-planned well-planned wedding cf Miss Helen Louise Gillins. daughter of Mr. p.nd Mrs. Clair Gillins, and Mr. Robert P. McKnight, son of Mr. and Mrs. John McKnight of Cedar Ci'y ,on Friday, Dec. 30fh. Bishop Richard Leon Jones performed the ceremony in the presence cf relatives and close friends. The chaprl was banked with shaded pink glads and white mums. The bridegroom's parents were hosts at a dinner in the Relief Society room after the ceremony, and the newlyweds were feted at a reception in the Elmenetary School Multi Purpos Room. The bridal party included Mrs. Gerald Stoker, sister ol the bride, as matron of honor; Mrs. Jack McMullin, Miss Connie Con-nie Marshall, Miss Kathy Gillins, Gil-lins, Miss Linda Sherwood, Miss Marsha Smith and Mrs. Paul Woodbury, bridesmaids. The flower girl was little Miss Lori Stoker, and Leann McKnight Mc-Knight was ring bearer. Kenneth McKnight acted as best man, and ushers were Doug McKnight, Rodney Orton, Mike Carr, Mike Sherman, Skip Robb and Keith Gillins. The bride was charming in an enchanting floor length white crepe and Chantilly lac; gown. The molded bodice and wrist length sleeves were of the Chantilly lace. The square fashioned neckline was jewel trimmd. The bell shaped skirt was of crepe. Gracefully accenting ac-centing the effect was her court removable train, styled with a scalloped Chantilly lace panel edged with matching crepe. Her bouffant fingertip butterfly but-terfly fashioned veil was held to jeweled rose petals centered with dainty white roses. She held American Beauty rosebuds and white mums. After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the newlyweds resumed their studies at the CSU in Cedar City. |
