'-V . .. i I X . i CLINTON THOMPSONS OBSERVE GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY The children of Clinton and Verna Thompson are honoring their parents on their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Anni-versary, Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Minersville school, from 8 to 11 p.m. All friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend. A program and dancing will be enjoyed. The couple request no gifts. Clinton was born in Minersville, Min-ersville, Oct. 16, 1903, a son of Ward P. and Edna C Carter Thompson. Verna was born Sept. 7, 1905 in Lyman, Wyo., a daughter of Hyrum A. and Sarah Ann Jackson Walker. They were married in Beaver, Sept. 30, 1924. The ceremony was performed by Fred T. Gunn, later solemnized in the St. George IDS Temple. Clinton and Verna have lived most of their lives In Minersville. They are the parents of five children; four girls and one boy. They also have twenty grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Their children are Mrs. Ray (Fay) Willeson, Leon, Mrs. Paul (Margene) Thompson, Mrs. Paul (Lois) Paice and Mrs. Dale (Louise) Murdock. |
