EDWARD L. MATHEWS LONGTIME RESIDENT SERVICES HELD Funeral services were held for Edward Lloyd Mathews on Monday, Aug. 3rd in the Mlnersville L.D.S. Chapel. Burial Bur-ial was in the Minersville cem-etary. cem-etary. He died at his home of natural nat-ural causes. Born Oct. 24, 1898, in Beaver to Thomas Cart-wright Cart-wright and Mary Ellen Eyre Mathews. Married Viva Ethel Ogden Jan. 11, 1926, Survivors are his widow, sons, and daughters, Wallace Legrand, Clifford Dayle, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Gerald (Jackie) Nowers, Beaver; Mrs. Lee (Leola) Gillins, of Ore.; and Thomas Forrest, Minersville; Miners-ville; 27 grandchildren; 7 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother, sisters, Lynn, Roy; Mrs. Paulin Wood, Mrs. Althea Gillins, both Minersville. Min-ersville. Out of county who attended the funeral included Mark and Gail Pratt, Wendel Wagstaff, Bob Runyon, all of Salt Lake. Mrs. Viva D.
