Show HARRY WARD THOMPSON, 64, DIES IN LAS VEGAS Harry Ward Thompson, 64, Minersville, died Jan. 5 in a Las Vegas hospital of natural causes. He was born May 28, 1908 in Minersville to Ward Patterson and Edna Caroline Carter Thompson. He married LaRue Myers on Nov. 11, 1928 in Minersville. He was a member of the Minersville Min-ersville LDS Church, and the Union Pacific Old Timers Club. He attended the Minersville schools and was a carman for the UPRR until his retirement in the fall of 1972. Survivors are his widow in Minersville, sons Normand, Milford; Mil-ford; O'Dell, Calif.; Mrs. Ralph (Ludean) Reynolds, Salt Lake City; Lucille, Henderson, Nev.; 19 grandchildren; brothers, Earl Milford; Clinton, Minersville; sisters; Mrs. Lula Waters, Springville; half-brother, half-sister, half-sister, Les, Linda Mecham, both Idaho. Funeral services were held on Tuesday in the Minersville Miners-ville LDS Ward Chapel. Burial in the Minersville Cemetery. |
