Show POWER LINE 1SASSURED It is indeed good news to Milford and vicinity to know that the Tel-luride Tel-luride power company will build the long desired power line to the pumping pump-ing district. Mr. H. B. Waters, superintendent superintend-ent of the Telluride is the authority tor the statement that the material will be ordered at once for six miles mil-es of line and he says he will have it all done by the first of April. The line will run directly south from their present station three miles i to the soutji line of section 30 thense south-west to the aest quarter corner cor-ner of section 2 thense south one half mile to the south east corner or section 2 T. 29 south range 11 west, (R. E. Parson's place) The line is to be a 300 K. W. 44-000 44-000 volt line with 6600 volt sub-station. Those who had signed up for power befcre Mr. Waters left for Richfield were: C. T. Martin, 10 horse power, Chas. Baxter, 5 horse power, W. H. Heudrickson, 30, J. L. Griffiths 10, 1. McKeon 10, R. E. Parsons, 10 and C. C. Sloan 10, a total of 85 horsepower. horse-power. Several others are expected to sign up soon, but these are the nen who so far have expressed their faith to such an extent as to be willing to put their names to con-racts, con-racts, which make tipossible for he Telluride people togo ahead with ihe work. As signers beyond the present con-lemplated con-lemplated end of the line are obtained, ob-tained, the line will be extended to upply them with power. The estimated cost of the line is pproximately $1000 per mile. |
