Charles .Ml Hon P-rough, held yesterday yester-day afternoon at the undertaking parlors par-lors of Tierce Brothers. Rev. Baker P. Lo pronounced a brief eulogy upon the dend soldier and frlenJ, and a touching duet was rendered iiv Prof, and Ebn Ingram of Monrovia. j The services at the gTave In Ingle-wood Ingle-wood cemetery wen. conducted by Penulpha Ixdge No. 202 of the Masonic Ma-sonic Order, at the request of Kl Monto Commandery No. 2, Ogden Chapter No. 2 and Weber Lodge No C. Knights Templar, of which Capt. nrougli was a member. The pallbearers pall-bearers were Dr. M. M. Graves. Dr. K. B. Graham. Samuel Tyson. Nicholas Nicho-las Messcr, N. E. Rice ajid C. L. Pcebles. Notable among the many beautiful floral offerings was a great wreath of roses and ferns tied with the colors of the Fifteenth Pannsylvanla Cavalry Cav-alry Capt. Drough's old regiment. This was Rent by the three surviving members mem-bers of that regiment In this city, Samul Tyson, Nicholas Mosser and Al Price. The death of Capt. He removed to Los Angeles In Hto.j and had resided here continuously continu-ously for the last six years. He leaves a wife, Cora Stevens Brough; two sons. Dr. C. If. Brouich. of Fayette-vllle. Fayette-vllle. Arlc. and Knight M. Brough of Vlcksbnrg. and a daughter. Miss Flora M. Thompson ,of this city. |
