Elna was Dorn September 7, 1894 in Franklin, Idaho to George Chandler and I ucv Maria Doney Parkinson. She was raised in Preston, Idaho. Attended the University of from the Utah, graduated University of California at Berkeley. Taught English at Granite High School- Married Dr. W. Creed Haymond on December 23, 19?) in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church; had served as president of ward and stake Primary. VWMIA, ward, stake and mission Relief Society; also taught theology for many years. She served, with her husband who was president ot the Northern States Mission, 1945-5Member of the Relief Society General Board for 18 years, and Ensignia Church History Club. Had resided in Holladay tor 28 years. Creed was born Dec. 2, 1893 in Springville, Utah to Amasa Lyman and Eliza Jane Bring-hurs- t Haymond. Served as a member of the general board of the VMMIA. Active in many LDS church and youth positions, popular church speaker on the Word of Wisdom.
