He placed second at Park City Mountain Resort, on Jan. 8 in the King of the Wasatch Slopestyle competition. In the first stop of the Paul Mitchell Freeski Tour in Breckenridge, Colo., Battersby placed in the top 10. His younger brother, Adam, 14, finished in 30th place out of a field of 78 competitors at the Sugar Bowl Event. Tyler rides for Line Skis, and is sponsored by Scott, Team Vontaar.
