About 100 units are planned at the site, mostly townhouses and condominiums. The developers plan to restore historic, mining-era buildings on the site as well. On Saturday. Feb. 26 at 11:40 a.m.. the police were called to the S00 block of Park Avenue, where one of the animals was spotted. A wildlife crew was called and at about 2:35 p.m., the moose was tranquilized. the police said. Police officers conducted a number of traffic patrols, writing speeding tickets and warning other motorists about their speed. On S.R. 224 at 8:05 a.m.. for instance, the police pulled over a motorist for allegedly speeding and violating seal-belt laws. On Saturday, Feb. 26 al 11:39 p.m., the police received a complaint from the 1000 block of Empire Avenue that a taxi driver allegedly almost hit a woman walking a dog. The police arrested a man on Deer Valley Drive al 11:32 a.m. on a charge of driving under Ihe influence of alcohol or drugs. Officers arrested a person on the 300 block of Main Street al 9:12 p.m. after receiving a reporl that a man was threatened with a knife. 'Hie suspect was cited and released. At 7:12 p.m., two rncn were reported fighting on Heber Avenue. However, ihe police were unable to locale the alleged combatants. The Police Department at 5:01 p.m. received a faxed-in complaint of stolen skis on Ihe 2200 block of Deer Valley Drive. No injuries were reported in a traffic accident at 2:39 p.m. in a parking lot on the 1700 block of Park Avenue. The vehicles were lowed, though, the police said. On Friday, Feb. 25 at 9:35 p.m.. a road-rage incident was reported on the 500 block of Main Street. An officer warned both parties. An officer al 7:13 p.m.. warned a motorist on the 1700 block of Bonanza Drive for failing to yield to a pedestrian. 'Hie police were summoned to Deer Valley at 3:32 p.m. after receiving a report that three men had skied out of bounds. The officers were awaiting the men. who were reportedly being escorted off the mountain. The police said the men did not arrive, though. Al 7:1 S p.m., the police arrested a man on a drunken-driving charge on Prospector Avenue. The police received a complaint at 7:11 p.m. that someone had thrown eggs at a front door of a building on the 3000 block of Sunny Slopes Drive. On Thursday, Feb. 24 at 7:26 p.m., the police arrested a man on a drunken-driving charge at the intersection of Heber Avenue and Swede Alley. The arrest followed a traffic accident and the police said one of the motorists hit Ihe back of Ihe other. Al 1:07 p.m., the police arrested a man in Park City after he allegedly hit his ex-girlfriend in the mouth. At 12:23 a.m.. the police arrested a man in Park City on charges of domestic violence and intoxication. On Wednesday. Feb. 23 at 10:06 p.m.. the police arrested a woman on a drunken-driving charge on the J700 block -of Sidewinder Drive after a twovehicle accident. No injuries were reported. On Tuesday. Feb. 22 at 11:40 a.m.. the police received a faxedin report of an alleged instance of child abuse in Park City. The police arrested a person at 2:52 a.m. on a charge of attempted residential burglary on the 3700 block of Rising Star Lane. The police were called to the house after receiving an alarm and when officers arrived they found fresh prints in the snow. On Monday. Feb. 21 al 9:41 p.m., the police arrested a person on a charge of drunken driving on the 400 block of Main Street. " Al 4:36 p.m., a person on the 1700 block of Bonanza Drive reported their home had been burglarized.
