Show Mother and Sisters of Pearl Andrus Announce Her Coming Marriage The approaching marriage of Miss Pearl Andrus, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Andrus was charmingly told at an announcement announce-ment dinner given at the Andrus home last Wednesday evening by her mother and her sister, Mrs. Reid Leigh. Plates were set for 14, with the favors bearing the betrothal announcement. On Friday evening the H'nH club, of'which the bride-elect is a member, feted her with a shower at the banquet room of the Arrowhead Ar-rowhead hotel: In charge of the program were Mrs. Marion Bowler and Mrs. Darrel Phil Spencer. More than 50 relatives and friends attended. Miss Andrus took the bus late Monday evening for Ontario, California, Cali-fornia, where her marriage to G. H. McKay will take place Wednesday Wed-nesday or Thursday evening, at the 'home of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Beard. Mrs. Beard is the former Reva Andrus Atkin, a sister of the bride-elect. The couple will make their home in Ontario, where Mr. McKay Mc-Kay is employed by the Calacro Academy airplane factory. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. McKay of Ogden, and spent the past several months in St. George as an employee of the Soil Conservation office of this county. |
