Show husband, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Mc Cann, down to Delta and treated them to a lovely dinner and later attended a show on Father's Day. Last Thursday the 4th year sewing sew-ing class held their 4-H Club meeting meet-ing at the home of Jeannine Niel-son. Niel-son. A demonstration was given by Ruth Nielson on how to patch. Refreshments Re-freshments were served after the meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Bennett and children, from Tooele, spent Father's Fath-er's day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Williams, in Leamington. Leaming-ton. Mrs. Laura Nelson and son, Arlo, made a trip to Salt Lake City last week. Mrs Ruth Finlinson was visiting in Salt Lake for a few days this week. Mr. and Mrs. Fay Fielding and children, spent Father's Day, visiting visit-ing with his parents in Pleasant Grove, also her parents in Orem. Relief Society officers furnished the program in Sunday school on Father's Day. Poems were recited by Janice Hansen, Janice Nielson and Iris Nielson; reading by Mar-gene Mar-gene Finlinson. A tribute to Father by Arlo Nelson. Music selections were enjoyed between talks. A pretty card was presented to each father present. Mr. and Mrs. Dene Dutson and son, from Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dutson and son, of Lynndyl, enjoyed a dinner with their parents on Father's Day. Home missionaries furnished the 1-11 ! He left Sunday for the mission home in Salt Lake, where l he will spend a few days prior to I J leaving for the North Western I A States mission field,, where he will I 5C: serve a two-year mission. Some of those that attended the I farewell party from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Steph- l enson, his grandmother; Mr. and i l Mrs. Ervine Whatcott, Mrs. Gene ? Dutson, and his sister and husband, I from Lynndyl; Mrs. Nelson's sis- ter and husband; Mr. and Mrs. j Leland Roper, from Oak City. There I were also many young folks from 4 out of town that came to enjoy the J dance later in the evening, j Mr and Mrs. Willie Lovell, from j Lynndyl, took his parents,. Mr. and ' 1 Mrs. Ben Lovell and his sister and program for Sunday night meeting. George H. Anderson and Brother Talbot gave some interesting talks. Eldonna Anderson and Laurel Anderson, And-erson, from Oak City, played two piano duets Myrl Johnson came home from Provo to spend Father's Day with her parents. Mrs. Doris Greanleaw and little son are visiting here with her father, fath-er, Mr. Sam Jensen. All those that are interested in little Larry Bradfield & would like to know; he is still bed-fast and is slowly recovering from the auto accident he was involved in. La Forge Lovell comes home every weekend, from Provo, where he is attending summer school at the BYU, to spend with his family. Fay Overson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Overson is home visiting with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bure Warner, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Morgan, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Smith, from Salt Lake, attended the wedding dance in Deseret, for Mr and Mrs. Melvin Warner last Saturday night. On their return trip they stopped over and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Dutson, a sister to Mrs. Warner, in Leamington. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. T. Finlinson had their two daughters, Susan and husband, from Tooele and Elizabeth Eliza-beth and husband, from Panguitch, to spend Father's Day with them. Mrs. Mable Overson had her daughter, Manilla and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Overson, from Delta, Del-ta, visiting with her Sunday. Miss Joan Nielson, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Elden Nielson, has gone to Los Angeles, to visit with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Dutson went to Provo last Monday, on a business busi-ness trip. Mr. and Mrs. Bud McCann went to Provo last Saturday to attend the funeral services of an aunt of Mr. McCann's. Mr. Jeff Finlinson enjoyed a very nice dinner at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Greathouse, in Lynndyl on Father's Day. |
