Show HAPPY AT LAST. Editor Journal.-The little dirty runs. If at first you don't succeed, Try, try, try again; Time will bring you your reward, Try, try, try again. Being thus encouraged a third meeting of the school tax payers of the Wellsville school district was called on the 3rd inst. The necessary notice had been given by the trustees and the meeting was well attended, 116 tax-payers being present. Mr. James H. Haslam was called to the chair. Samuel Mitton was secretary, William F. Darley, Thomas Leishman and Thomas Kerr, Judges. On motion of Thomas Kerr, seconded by Alexander Duncan, a tax of three-fourths of one per cent. was voted for, with the following result: Ayes, 88, nays, 28; majority in favor of tax, 60. T. B.
