Show SUPERIOR MINE. Canfield, writing to J. W. Hog-gan, Hog-gan, June 11th, says: "Having floored down about ten feet, after going two feet began to encounter ore in small bunches. We find at the bottom of the ten feet as good ore and as large a showing as we have ever had in the mine. The conglomerate is so far the hanging wall, with every indication of continuing con-tinuing so." The owners are expecting ex-pecting a sample of ore soon, and are highly elated as this confirms the theory that the ore was down and north. They will now start tunneling on the 5-foot ledge recently re-cently uncovered by a flood. This ledge leads straight to the shaft where the new find is. |
