Show E. Bergeson j Of Cornish in Preston Hospital PRESTON, Idaho Excessive speed and slippery pavement were responsible for an accident eleven and a half miles north of Preston on the Yellowstone highway, U.S. 91, Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon which demolished a sedan se-dan and resulted in injuries to two persons, state police reported. Most seriously injured was Ephraim Bergeson, 69, of Cornish, Corn-ish, driver of the sedan. Mr. Bergeson is a former president of the Utah State Farm Bureau. He suffered a fractured left leg. shock and brises, said attendants attend-ants at a Preston hospital. Mrs. Cora Hogan of Bancroft, Mr. Bereeson's niece, escaped with shock and bruises, although she-was she-was thrown from the machine as it somersaulted end over end nd rolled for a distance of 300 feet from where it left the highway, high-way, reported Lieutenant H. W. 7. anri Officer James H. Bowns, who investigated. |
