Last Tuesday evening the knights held one of their usual lively meetings. Rev. Father Guaymard of the cathedral cathe-dral parish was a very welcome visitor. vis-itor. Lecturer Fanning conducted a very pleasing musical and literary program, which was much enjoyed by all. The council will give a dancing party to the members and friends the latter part of the month, the date and place to be named later. Rev. Father Guaymard will, under the auspices of the knights, deliver a lecture in the near future. The grand knight will, each month, appoint four members of the council to act as ushers at the 8 and 11 o'clock masses. During February the ushers will be: Eight o'clock mass, C. E. Jasmine, Jas-mine, F. J. Carten; 9 o'clock mass, A. J. Bruneau, George A. Doyle: 11 o'clock mass, D. J. Laramie and G. J. Gibson. Thursday afternoon Miss Agnes Cos-grove Cos-grove of Grand Junction save a recital re-cital at St. Mary's academy. Miss Cos-grove Cos-grove has been a pupil of the aocdemy for many years and will graduate in music from the institution in June. Miss Cosgrove delighted the largj audience au-dience with her brilliant execution. She Is certainly a credit to th; academy aca-demy which has instructed so many talented, clever musician. She was assisted as-sisted by Miss Lydia White, harpist; Miss Katherine Brenning, Margaret McDonough, vocalists, and Miss Li-sete Li-sete Luvane, reader. Concert Rhearsals. Mrs. Phil O'Meara has many classes of women and children under her expert ex-pert guidance at the rink. The regular parties of society folk attend faithfully and enjoy the pleasant sport.
