Show BOY SCOUT DISTRICT DIVISIONS AND SECTIONS During the recent visit of Charles N. Miller, of Los Angeles, representing represent-ing the twelfth region Boy Scouts of America, the nomanclature of the various organizations and sub-organizations of th boys scout work was determined upon. It was suggested that the entire Timpanogos council should be called the Timpanogos district, the three subdivisions of the districts be called divisions, and the various otwns be called sections. sec-tions. For instance, that territory included in Pleasant Grove is called the Pleasant Grove section of the Alpine division of the Timpanogos district of the twelfth region, Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Miller maintained main-tained that such designations would avoid confusion. It was further suggested at the meeting that Wasatch, Juab, Uintah and Daggett counties would, be added to the Timpanogos district dis-trict for the present. That is, those euonties would look to the Timpanogos Timpan-ogos district council for suggestions and encouragement rather than to Salt Lake City or to any other district |
