Show i MILFORD BOY WINS CALIFORNIA BRIDE New to some Milford people but decidedly not new to the many friends made during a previous period of employment there, Thomas J. Schow, more commonly known at "Tommy," is again assisting in the P. P. O. O. garage, new Ford agency. A native of Milford, where he grew to young manhood, "Tommy" returns to Milford after some two years spent in Glendale, California, where he captured the heart of one of Cali-fornias Cali-fornias prettiest adopted daughters and brings her to Milford with him which took place Thursday in Glendale. Glen-dale. They arrived in Milford Monday. Mon-day. The following account of the mar riage of Mr. and Mrs. Schow is taken form a Glendale paper: "The marriage of Miss Viola Kreider and Thomas J. Schow took ' place at 6 o'clock Thursday night, April 26, 1934, at the home of the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. James MacDonald, 1924 'Chilton. Rev. J. F. Gasser, pastor of the Lake Street Baptist church, of-! of-! ficiated. The ceremony and the wed-! wed-! ding supper that followed were at-i at-i tended only by relatives and a few intimate friends. At a later hour a , reception was held for fifty guests, j "The bride, who was given in mar-j mar-j riage by her brother-in-law, wore a I gown of white organide and a ban-J ban-J deau in her hair. Her corsage bou-j bou-j quet was of lilies of the valley and ! gardenias. "Mrs. MacDonald, who attended her sister, wore yellow organdie. Mrs. George Ashworth, the bridegroom's bride-groom's sister, was the other attendant. attend-ant. Her gown was pink organdie. August Nichols and George Ashworth Ash-worth were the groomsmen. "Mr. and Mrs. Schow will leave Sunday for Milford, Utah, to make their future home. Mr. Schow resided re-sided there until two years ago, when he came to Glendale. He attended at-tended the Utah Agricultural college. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. N. C. Schow of Milford. "The bride, a Canadian by birth, has been living with her sister for the last eight years. She was graduated grad-uated from the Glendale high school in 1930." o |
