Show Club Members Enjoy Outing Hearing reasons why this var is the people's war as well as a military war members of the Sugar Su-gar House Chamber of Commerce enjoyed Royal Garff's comments Wednesday night at the annual outing of the group held at Fairmont Park. Mr. Garff is a Salt Lake man, widely known for his news comments, com-ments, and he urged that all people realize how imporant the war against inflation '.s to their well being after the war with the axis is won. Wednesday's outing was arranged ar-ranged by Don Hobbs, Russell Shurtliff, Ron Hendricks, Hiram Young and Louise Hoggan. MONDAY NIGHT OPENING DISCUSSED Merchants of Sugar Huose are asked by the Merchant's Commit tee of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce to be prepared with an opinion on whether or not the stores of the district will remain open Monday nights until 9 P. M. as they will be visited by a member of this committee in the near future. The proposistion is that stores will not open until noon and will remain open until 9 p. m. |
