FAMILY SCOTT The youth council is set up to provide an opportunity for the youth of Price to acquire a greater working knowledge of and appreciation for the city municipal government through an active participation in the system. Elections will be held for mayor, (who must be in the 11th grade), and for five councilmen (8th through 11th grades). The mayor and two councilmen will be chosen from Carbon High School along with two councilmen from Mont Harmon Junior High and one from Notre Dame Junior High. Each school will vote only for the candidates from their school, and only the residents of Price can vote. Candidates running for office must submit petitions by Oct. 28. Petition forms are available from youth council members, school offices or the Price recorders office.
