William Krompel Sr. incident reported an apparent on the Old Wellington Road and provided deputies with a description of the vehicle believed to have been used to unlawfully remove an unspecified number of bales from a privately owned field. Noon Oct 22. The death of David Elmo Sager, a Highland residence, was reported from the Hilltop Tavern in Price Canyon. The victim purportedly died earlier, at approximately 7 a.m., in Willow Creek, but family members apparently loaded the body into a mobile home and proceeded toward Provo before notifying authorities. Although the death actually occurred in Duchesne County, Sagers body was transported to Castleview Hospital where the Carbon a County Sheriffs Office conducted preliminary investigation into the incident. An autopsy was ordered to determine the official cause of death. 6:46 p.m. Oct. 22. Vehicles driven by Robert S. Birch and Joe Bedwell purportedly collided in Nine Mile Canyon. Carbon deputies compiled a courtesy report on the accident which will be forwarded to the Duchesne County Sheriffs Office for further investigation. 7:15 p.m. Oct. 22. The office assisted Duchesne County at the scene of an ATV-auaccident in Argyle Canyon near the Wimmer Ranch. David Wayne Wimmer, rider of the all terrain vehicle, suffered a concussion, numerous lacerations plus hip, jaw and wrist fractures in the mishap. The young victim, after being stabilized at Castleview Hospital, was transported via to a Salt Lake City medical facility for additional medical treatment. A follow-u- p investigation into the accident is being conducted by Duchesne law enforcement officers. 2:06 p.m. Oct. 24. Ruby N. Forrester reported finding a Glenfield rifle approximately two miles west of the Scofield Junction. The information was forwarded to Utah County, but the rifle remains in the possession of the local sheriffs office, to be released upon verification of ownership. 7:20 p.m. Oct. 24. Linda Muth reported a sheep, valued between $65 and $85, killed by an apparent gunshot in a field at 1980 North 500 West in Carbonville. 12:30 a.m. Oct. 25. Brent A. Powell was arrested on the Ridge and Central Miller Creek roads and charged by deputies with driving under the influence of an intoxicant (DUI) and evading arrest. Powell was also charged with telephone harassment by the Price City Police Department. 7:50 p.m. Oct. 14. A vehicle driven by Georgia S. Kakatsidas allegedly collided into the rear of a vehicle driven by Mark E. Byrge on Main Street near the 300 East intersection. Kakatsidas was cited for following too closely. 12:30 p.m. Oct. 18. An unattended vehicle owned by Stanley Gibson was reported damaged in an apparent incident in Arbys parking lot at 755 East Main Street North. 3:55 p.m. Oct. 21. A vehicle driven by Shawn Moosman allegedly attempted to back at 285 North Carbon Avenue and collided with a parked vehicle owned by Robert L. Jennings. Moosman was cited for improper backing. 1:30 p.m. Oct. 22. A vehicle driven by Lavonne N. Seeley purportedly attempted to back from a carport at 1450 East 500 South and collided with a mobile home in Melody Estates. No citations were issued in the private property mishap. p.m. Oct. 18. Fiore T. Wilson was arrested in a parking lot at 706 West Price River Drive and charged with simple assault. 10:50 p.m. Oct. 18. Lance R. Meyer was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant at the Price City Police Department on 200 East. 12:15 p.m. Oct. 19. Steve J. Manzanares reported the felony theft of five chrome rims, valued at $250, and two Sears all season tires, valued at $100, from Steves Tires in Price. The missing property belongs to Gary Pilling. 2:45 p.m. Oct. 19. Jackie Lee Brown d was arrested in Price on an active, bench warrant. 10:15 p.m. Oct. 21. Ceasar Sanchez was issued a citation for purportedly operating a motor vehicle on a Utah drivers license at 100 West Main Street. 12:10 a.m. Oct. 22.
