Show A baby girl was born Friday of last week at the Milfonl hospital to .Mrs. Marvin Hughes of Xada. Richard Heslington is the owner of a new Studebaker sedan purchased pur-chased through the W. K. Martin garage, Studebaker agents. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Palmer returned re-turned home Monday from Salt Lake City, where Mr. Palmer has been receiving medical attention. Miss Margaret Cochrane entertained enter-tained the S. 0. D. H. girls at her home last Thursday envening with Miss Norma White winning high score prize. Mrs. W. H. Davis returned home Saturday from Ely, Nevada, where she had been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. W. B. Neil, and family the last month. Hal Smurthwaite came down from Salt Lake Tuesday after spending the winter there attending attend-ing school. He is now assisting in the Jefferson Mercantile store. A Washing-ton's birthday program, pro-gram, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, will be given Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the high school. A business meeting of the Mil-ford Mil-ford American Legion Auxiliary was held 'Monday afternon at the home of Mrs. Willard Nichols with 14 present. Refreshments were served. Miss Marjorie Casterline, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Caster-line, Caster-line, was operated for appendicitis Tuesday morning at the local hospital hos-pital and is doing nicely, according to Dr. R. R. Shannon. The regular meeting of the Mil-ford Mil-ford Parent-Teachers association will be held next Monday evening at the high school, according to Mrs. J. C. Smith, president, and a good attendance is urged. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Johnson and small daughter Joyce of Pro-vo, Pro-vo, were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Heslington. The Johnsons were enroute to Los Angeles, where they will make their home. Mrs. Frank Kuchenmeister entertained enter-tained Wednesday afternoon in honor of the tenth birthday of her daughter Shirley.
