Show BOY SCOUT NOTES (By Jay Jeffers) During the past week the Scouts of Troop 324 have been out soliciting solicit-ing money to send to the Red Cross for flood relief. The patrols have received a total of $12.41. The patrols pa-trols appreciate very much the contributions con-tributions given so freely by the citizens of the community. A contest was sponsored by the troop to see who could get the most money. The Stag patrol, with Stanley Hughes as patrol leader, came first with S5.1&; the Fox patrol pa-trol second with $4.00, and the Covered Wagon patrol got $3.25. One patrol has not yet completed their drive. At the banquet last Saturday, which was very successful, several numbers were given by our troop, j They were as follows: Skit, Sara Crossing the Railroad Tracks, by I the Flaming Arrow patrol; one act , play, Clementine, by the troop; skit, Hot News, by the Covered I Wagon patrol. This week the troop will be busy making and gathering articles for a fish pond to be sponsored by the M. 1. A. next Tuesday. ' j n |
