Show Christmas Festival Sun. The annual University Christmas Christ-mas Choral Festival will be presented pre-sented December 14 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. in Kingsbury Hall. The two one-hour performances performan-ces will include selections to "charge the entire family with the spirit of Christmas;" said Director J. Marlowe Nielson. The University Symphony Brass, the Chamber Orchestra, the University Chorus, the Men's Chorus, Cho-rus, the Chamber Choir, and the A Cappella Choir will perform over 20 yuletide selections. "Away in the Manger" and "Sing We the Praise of God," are a few of the traditional songs to be sung. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Lit-tle Christmas," "There is No Rose," a fifteenth century English carol, and a Czech carol called "Rocking" will also be included in the program. The Festival is free to the public pub-lic and has played to standing-room-only audiences in the past. |
