Show REVOLUTIONIZED FARMING METHODS. Not so many years ago agricultural agricul-tural cooperatives were regarded with suspicion. Some believed that they could produce nothing worth while, they were needless "luxuries." Others thought they would merely waste time and money of their farmer farm-er members. Today the cooperative has come into the "necessity" classification so far as the progressive farmer is con- j cerned. The cooperatives have slowly, quietly and effectively caused a virtual vir-tual agricultural revolution. They have gone a long way toward taking the guess-work out of farming herein each producer raised as much f-as he could, irrespective of markets I or demand, and sold it for what he vas offered. The old-time farmer was a t the mercy of the middleman the m odem farmer, with his organization dofnfc' the talking and barga'ning for hinl, has applied proven business method's toward achieving a better pla-e in the world. I Cooperatives have made a groat record during the depression and when better times return, they are going to shw the country what real agricultural progress means. |
