Show LION PREXY NAMES HIS LIEUTENANTS NEW ADMINISTRATION GETS LINED UP FOR COMING YEAR Taking over the office of president of the Lions club this week, Al Cline nnnounced the committees who will keep an eye on Lion's activities for the coming year. All members of the club will serve on one or more committees. com-mittees. The following was the list re.nl by Mr. Cline: ! Membership: Smith, White, Palmer. Education: Parrish, Bowman, S. Cline Aviation: Clay, Kinney, Wynaught. Roads: Jefferson, Murdock, Morris. Publicity: Brown, Osborn, Pool. Livestock and Dairy: Bybee, Kirk, Murdock. Boy Scouts: Chanslor, Kohler, Bowman. Bow-man. Sewage: Lewis, Smith, Webb. Sidewalks: S. Cline, Ellingsworth, Peterson. New Faces A new member, Mayor 0. F. Hub- bell, was welcomed to the Lions club at its Wednesday meeting. C. A. Parrish, of Farmington, father of C. R. Parrish, was present as a guest. He made a brief talk, commenting-favorably commenting-favorably on the changes manifest in Milford's appearance on his visit here, which has occured yearly. It was decided that, in view of the fact that A. E. Smith will be unable to go to the convention at Louisville, the club would wire K. S. Carlton, who is now at Manuta, Ohio, and would request him to attend as the Milford delegate. N The meeting was held at the Atkin dining room. |
