peterson mr peterson was born at redmond january 13 1898 2898 he spent his childhood at rodmond redmond the family then moved to salina where in later years he became affiliated with the merchandising business being employed at salina and gunnison he was an active member of the salina lions club and also of the hiram lodge no 12 F A M in 1924 he married mary who was at a richfield hospital receiving medical treatments when told of his death on may 3 1937 mr peterson Pete raon was appointed postmaster of the salina post office where he served faithfully and well sir mr peterson is survived by his widow mrs mary peterson a 1 son rollo aged 12 years his father P F peterson of richfield a sister mrs airs glen hansen of ogden three brothers W curg peterson salt lake philo peterson organizations and as a scout patrol leader he and his wife were teachers in the sunday school mr draper married miss maurine casto of salina on august 14 1937 surviving mr draper are his widow his parents mr air and mrs rasbel draper two sisters eloise draper and mrs airs ernest bastian and a brother lazon draper LILLIAN PORTER WHITLOCK WinT LOCK mrs lillian porter whitlock 41 of central died monday of complications at childbirth mrs whitlock was born at annabella june 8 1896 a daughter of wm win J and melissa thurston porter she married joseph whitlock october 3 1917 and had since resided at central she is survived by her husband her parents three daughters elaine ludean and sharon five sons odell garn gam and warren 1 twins george Q and an infant son two sisters mrs airs burnell dillinger of oakland california and mrs lapreal jensen of elsinore EIsin five brothers guy and cutler pori ter of Su sanville california lamar porter of sacramento california earl porter of annabella made his home here until the last ten years most of which time he spent at ely his wife mary alary peterson jensen died july 16 1905 1905 three years after their marriage and was buried in the richfield cemetery surviving are arc three sisters and four brothers mrs anna baker john harvey and alfred jensen of richfield mrs E C wright of salina mrs airs nephi herm hermanson Hermans arisen cn and orson jensen of ely nevada all of the brothers and sisters and members of their families were in attendance at the services |
